Service work with Minorities and Philosophy (MAP)

While in graduate school, worked first as an organizer, and then as a co-director for Minorities and Philosophy (MAP). I managed and supervised funding distribution for MAP chapters in universities all over the world, and approved applications for new MAP chapters. I co-organized MAP sessions in major philosophy conferences, such as a MAP panel on public philosophy and activism at Central APA. I designed and co-managed an online MAP inter-campus mentorship program, where we connected minority philosophy graduate students with similar backgrounds or interests with each other. I also co-organized a Running a MAP Chapter 101 online workshop and invited graduate students from the more successful MAP chapters to share their organizing experiences with the global MAP community.
